Online Learning Support – What is it?
Online Learning Support is our free service that allows you to clarify your questions about course content outside of regular class hours.
Online Learning Support takes place via Zoom. The sessions are held every Monday to Friday from 17:00 – 19:00 (CET).
How do I use the Online Learning Support service?
If you have enrolled in a german studios language course, you will receive an email with course information a few days before the course begins. Included in this email is a link that you can use to log in during the Online Learning Support. When you click on the access link for Online Learning Support, you will first be placed in a waiting room. Please wait a few minutes in the waiting room until the teacher invites you into the Zoom room.
Online Learning Support is open to all language levels, from beginners to advanced. Once your question has been answered, you can either log out or listen to further explanations from your fellow students.

How should I prepare for the Learning Support session?
Please prepare your question in advance as precisely as possible so that the teacher can provide a targeted and detailed answer. If you need help with your homework, it is helpful and time-saving if you can specify the page in the course or workbook.
In the course schedule, which you can always access in the Online Library, you can find out which topic was covered on the day you missed. The instructor will be happy to assist you in catching up on and understanding the missed material. Please note that Online Learning Support cannot fully replace your missed class day. Our german studios instructor will be happy to answer your questions, but this cannot be done in as much detail as in group lessons.
I attended Online Learning Support, but my question was not answered. What should I do now?
The instructor strives to clarify as many open questions as possible. However, please understand that time can sometimes be limited, and some questions may not be answered. Simply attend the next Online Learning Support session or speak directly to your teacher. In any case, we are here to assist you with your questions!
