You can register in just a few steps using our course configurator. Here, you'll find an overview of all the language courses available to you. Of course, you're also welcome to come in person and register at our front office.

Once you've paid for a German course, there are no additional registration fees. Please note that course books are not included in the course price; you can purchase them directly at the front office.

Through our course configurator, you have several payment options: credit cards, PayPal, debit cards, and instant bank transfers. You can also pay by credit card, debit card, or cash at our school.

At german studios Cologne, we regularly offer discounts, such as early booking discounts and a Bring-A-Friend discount of 10 euros when your friends register for a language course. You can also save significantly with multi-month bookings. The key here is the more months you book consecutively, the more you save! We offer various time slots so that everyone can find a course that fits their schedule. If your schedule changes after booking a course, it's possible to change courses depending on seat availability.

You can cancel or reschedule your language course up to 10 days before the course start date. You can reschedule your course to a different month free of charge if you would like to start your course later or receive a refund of up to 70% of the course fees if you would like to cancel it. However, after this time and once the course has started, it's no longer possible to cancel or reschedule..

We do not offer our own accommodations, but we provide you with many useful tips for finding housing in Cologne.

Yes, that's exactly what our Super-Intensive German course is designed for. With its 18 teaching hours per week, it meets all the requirements of the German Embassy for granting these visas. After booking, we will provide you with an official registration confirmation (subject to a fee), which you will need for your visa application.

We offer group courses with 4 to a maximum of 14 participants, and we continuously monitor to ensure that this limit is not exceeded. This ensures that each participant receives sufficient attention from the instructor. Additionally, smaller group sizes allow for a high level of interactivity.

All German courses at german studios Cologne run for four weeks. Shorter language stays are also possible. Please feel free to contact us for more information.

In our Intensive and Super-Intensive courses, you can complete beginner levels A1, A2, or B1 in two months. For the advanced levels B2 and C1, it takes three or four months due to the higher level of content. In our weekly evening courses, the course duration for all levels from A1 to C1 is doubled. The course progression depends on the number of lessons per week. In the Intensive course with four lessons per week, you will learn German much faster than in the evening course with only two lessons per week.

If you're unsure about which level is best for you, our free placement test usually provides a very good assessment. Depending on your previous knowledge, the test takes 10 to 30 minutes to complete. After finishing the test, it will display the course level that you should attend next. Alternatively, we can organize a free placement interview with one of our instructors for you.
